Kayla and Steven were married in a beautiful field in Canmore on September 26… with the dramatic backdrop of the mountains and the fall colors out in full force, they hardly needed any decor to add to the beauty of their day.
To immortalize their special day forever, Kayla saved some of the flowers from her bouquet, preserved them with silica gel powder and put them in a shadowbox frame. She also dried some of the greenery and baby’s breath and have them in a vase on display in her house. Pro tip: Hanging your florals upside down will give you the best result!
Their “Recipe”:
If you’re wanting to know the “secret sauce” to Kayla and Steven’s wedding florals, I’ve got it all written down below! The quantities were enough to make a floral hairpiece, bridal bouquet, 5 centerpieces, boutonniere, and the wedding arch. After the wedding, the guests took home the centerpieces from their tables, such a lovely parting gift!
