Lindsays Tips for Other DIY Brides:
Honestly, if you’re thinking about it or have any hesitation just do it. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole process of DIY’ing our flowers.
If you aren’t ordering one of the packages, and just ordering bulk flowers like we did, take a few days before you finalize the order. I left our order in the cart for a day or two and I ended up making slight changes a few times before submitting the order.
If you aren’t sure about quantity ask. This is probably what I struggled the most with. I was so worried we wouldn’t have enough to do everything I wanted, but we actually ended up with some extra.
Read the descriptions on the website when looking at specific flowers. I found the flower details and specific flower care so helpful when deciding if the flower was right for our wedding.
I looked at a lot of pictures for inspiration before ordering and would make note of the different flowers, greenery, and styles I was drawn too. This made it easier when it was time to order.
